Miss Nita is a Borchardt Dance Company Alumni, and daughter of Kathy Borchardt, who is the founder of Borchardt Dance Company! She graduated from Oklahoma City University with a 4 year, Bachelor of Performing Arts Degree (BPA) in Dance Performance.
Miss Nita danced with the World Famous Radio City Rockettes of New York City for 9 years, danced with the Radio City Rockettes in the “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” in New York City, performed on NBC’s Today Show with Meredith Vierra, as well as several TV and Radio Talk shows around the country. You can even see her on the cover of the “75th Anniversary of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular” coffee table book!
Miss Nita toured the United States and Japan with the Broadway Production of “42nd Street.” She danced in “Les Follies Bergere” at the Tropicana in Las Vegas, danced on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and performed in the Flobert and Fred Astaire Tap Awards Shows in New York City.
She has taught dance and choreographed all over the country, including Westport Academy of Ballet in Connecticut, Shreveport Academy of Ballet in Louisiana, Crestview Camps in Las Vegas, American Dance Training Camp in Vermont, and Dance Olympus in Toronto!

Borchardt Dance Company Founder
Mrs. Borchardt is the original owner of Borchardt Dance Company, opening the doors in 1975. She has been dancing, teaching, and studying the art of dance for over 45 years. Mrs. Borchardt has literally taught thousands of dancers!
Mrs. Borchardt has studied tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, musical theater, and lyrical. She believes in the “well-rounded” dancer. Her students have been competition winners in countless statewide competitions. They brought home “The National Tap Dance Award” as well as qualifyed for Dance Olympus Nationals in Las Vegas, NV and Orlando, FL. Several of her students have also been accepted into the prestigious Oklahoma City University’s Dance Program, as well as New York City’s Broadway Dance Center Professional Program.
Mrs. Borchardt is dedicated to teaching her students the importance of a professional dance education, and the joy it brings. Her teaching transcends beyond “steps.” She teaches her students to set high goals for themselves, work hard, and accomplish them. In addition to exceptional dance training, she teaches her students character, respect, and integrity. Mrs. Borchardt is more than a teacher, she is an inspiration.

Dance Instructor / Competition Instructor
Miss Jordyn is a Borchardt Dance Company Alumni.
She became a student teacher at BDC at the age of 14, and became a BDC Dance Instructor at BDC in 2019.
Miss Jordyn trained at Oklahoma City University’s Summer Intensives, where she experienced what it is like to be a dance and entertainment major. She auditioned for OCU’s dance department and was accepted as a Dance Major.
Upon graduating from high school, Miss Jordyn studied at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She enrolled in the Training Program and studied full-time under world-renowned faculty, and specialized in Hip Hop and Contemporary. While in NYC, Miss Jordyn performed with Zelma Davis, the C+C Music Factory, and several Broadway Dance Center performance projects.
Miss Jordyn is a well-rounded dancer and instructor, who has studied several genres of dance. She continually attends dance conventions and master classes to grow in her craft.

Dance Instructor / Choreographer
Miss Natalie is a Borchardt Dance Company Alumni.
She became a BDC Dance Instructor in 2022.
Miss Natalie graduated from Wartburg College with a Major in English and a Minor in Psychology. She also performed on the Wartburg College Dance Team for 4 years.
Miss Natalie has studied Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theater, and Hip Hop. In addition, Miss Natalie has studied college dance teams styles including Pom, Kickline, and Military.
Miss Natalie has been working with children for many years as a play Director for Patent Pending Players and has been a Bible camp counselor at Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp.
She has choreographed for multiple show choirs, musicals, and competitive dance teams.
Miss Natalie is also a piano and vocal instructor!

Dance Instructor
Miss Sara is a Borchardt Dance Company Alumni.
She started dancing at the age of two and joined the BDC family shortly thereafter. Some of her favorite memories from growing up are the ones she has of dancing down in Mrs. Borchardt’s studio.
Miss Sara graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a double Major in Marketing and Advertising, and a Minor in Graphic Design.
She has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Pointe. Her passion for dance continued through college where she participated in the dance club and took additional Ballet classes in St. Paul.
She served as a dance assistant in our preschool classes for two years and cherishes every minute she gets to spend teaching and encouraging our young dancers.
Miss Sara is excited to officially join our BDC teaching staff! She is passionate about growing the skills of young dancers and their love of dance.
