Class Description

BDC strongly believes in “Well Rounded” dancers. Therefor, we offer Combination (Combo) Classes to all of our students. Meaning, dancers study several styles of dance disciplines in each class session.

Dancers who wish to study an “Add On” class, must meet the age requirement listed, as well as be currently enrolled in a “Combo Class.” Dancers need to meet the foundational prerequisites of Tap, Ballet, and Jazz, in order to join an “Add On” class.

45 Minute Combo Class: (ages 3-6)
Dancers study Beginner level Tap, Ballet, and Tumbling. We focus on the foundation of both Ballet and Tap, as well as basic tumbling skills. Students learn dance terminology and technique, as well as rhythmic skills, and motor-skill development.

1 Hour Combo Class: (ages 5-8)
Dancers with Experience study Tap, Ballet, and Tumbling. Students increase their knowledge and dance terminology, as well as increase speed and precision with their movements.

1 ½   Hour Combo Class (Intermediate): (ages 7-12)
Dancers study Intermediate level Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. Jazz technique, choreography, and terminology is added to this class, in addition to more skilled and advanced movements in Tap and Ballet.
